Microsoft Family: Allow screen time to be assigned to groups of apps (example: 1hr total for all game apps)
With kids needing to be online for school everyday, parents need a way to restrict how much screen time they have for apps which are not school. I would like to be able to group my child's apps into categories and then assign a total time to each category.
For example: I would like to limit my child's gaming screen-time regardless of which game they are playing.
The current controls only let me set the time for each game which allows them to play each game to the limit for a total of many many hours past the desired screen…17 votes -
I just listed my suggestions above.
A "hot" key to allow a blind user to locate frequently, and not to frequently, used keystroke combinations to perform various Microsoft functions. These functions could include the keystrokes to find a folder, create afolder, and/or perform a search.

Azure accessibility
We are having considerable difficulty getting screen readers to work with Azure Bot Service. The biggest problem we have is focus loss. We've been troubleshooting the problem for months, but haven't had any success. We really need an accessibility specialist who understands assistive technology and WCAG to help the Azure team troubleshoot. Can you help us out?

I'm saying for everyone but those of us with disabilities can we bring back email!
Most the time because my disability I go to Chat and then ask for them to email so I can sit and think the best way to say what is wrong with my account. Like now it's late here and I know your short handed and I wanted to ask anyone about an sign-in problem but I don't want to wait someone on chat or call and that's if someone there. I think I know why like most companies the ability to send in emails without you first sending one was removed but I hate waiting for someone to answer…

Stop the pop ups on log on
Stop popping up the accessibility window whenever I log on. There is no "don't show me this again" button. It is most annoying and intrusive.

Text to Speech Hot Key - Read Highlighted Text Only
Hi there,
I'd like to follow up about my inquiry to include a feature on Narrator to read highlighted text only by pressing a hot key. This feature does not currently exist, but instead, Narrator reads off all sorts of content which is distracting. I simply need to be able to highlight text, press a hot key, and have that text read without the distracting announcements that Narrator produces each time you switch windows, select content, etc. I work on secure computers that don't allow plug-ins or the adding of additional software to enable this capability, and would greatly appreciate…

calendar shades for alternating months
In old versions of Outlook it was easy to delineate between months. Now all the months have the same background color. It's too easy to accidentally make an appointment in the wrong month. Ask me how I know....

dyslexie font
Have you any plans to add the dyslexie font to your product fonts? While I realize its designer might want to retain some creative control, I would think the gain for him as well as MS even as a piggyback product would make it beneficial to at least talk. They have a web site, and there are several TED talks.

10 second rewind button...
Not really an issue but a suggestion...I teach multiple students with Multiple Educational needs...many of my classes are recorded and I record tutorial, How to videos for my students. Is there a way to install a 10 second rewind within Stream? Many of my students would love to be able to rewind and watch demonstrations over and over as opposed to "guessing" with the bar at the bottom.

High Contrast
This page is easier to read than most. Turning on high contrast does not help to darken the print on screen. Web searches show many people have trouble with print on screen that is too light. Many elderly people have trouble. It would be helpful if Microsoft could provide a facility for darkening the print without having to go to Microsoft support. Offering white on black is not a solution.

I am a Special Education teacher desperately seeking help with your Teams product.
I am a SpEd teacher desperately seeking help with your Teams product. Several weeks ago, it ran an "update" which froze my students out of the chat box. It has been sheer **** using this product ever since. This is literally one of the only ways some of my students can express their voices and you have taken that away from them. It was also a hugely successful motivational tool- they love those emojis & being able to practice their social skills with one another. Further, it was a way that I used to check for understanding. I cannot see…

MS TEAMS desktop app crashes when navigating through channels with NVDA
Since May 2020, MS TEAMS crashes when trying to select a particular channel within a team using NVDA screen reader.
For example, if a team contains 3, 4 or more channels, pressing up and/or down arrow in a channel list several times makes Teams application crash and close unexpectedly. It may restart itself (not always) with a following error message:There was a glitch, and we had to restart the app. It's good to go now.
This problem appears in desktop app only at least on Windows10.

Case 1512696752:
I noticed a change in Microsoft Forms. In the past, filling form with screen reader was quick because it was possible to navigate from question to question by using heading level navigation. Now only the form itself has a main heading but questions have not headings. How do I get headings automatically for each question. I contacted the Microsoft disability answer desk and they had the same issue. I got case number 1512696752.

Include accessibility features for all Office versions
It is disappointing to discover that many if not most basic accessibility features are only available in Office 365. I hope that as future stand alone releases are developed that these features are not eliminated or reduced as a way of driving business to Office 365. I only have need of basic Office software and prefer not to use the online version or be locked into a subscription. Regrettably, I am forced to subscribe to Office 365 in order to access features like dictation, which is fundamental for how I need to work.
