  2. In Copilot - disable controller buttons and/or map multiple buttons to the same function

I'd like to request the ability to disable controller buttons or map multiple buttons to the same function while using copilot.

First off - I believe copilot is a wonderful concept. But, in certain situations it is limited by having a complete 1 to 1 correlation between each controller. If we were able to simplify the secondary controller by disabling buttons or alternatively mapping the same function on multiple buttons I believe we would be able to expand the copilot function to a broad user base.

As it is, my son does not posses the fine motor skills to hit…

  3. Support for individuals living with left Homonymous Hemianopsia

There should a facility for change the order of a display so that the list of folders can be positioned on the right hand side of the screen.

Whilst this request has been raised against Outlook, the problem applies to all Microsoft products designed for the Windows environment and products developed using Microsoft development tools. eg File Explorer, order of tabs on the toolbar for all applications.

Note that Homonymous Hemianopsia is often linked to individuals who have had a stroke and they may have other disabilities.

  4. Vibration motors

My son uses the adaptive controller, which is absolutely amazing by the way. The only thing that is really missing is the rumble force feedback that you get from regular controllers. It would be awesome to have a separate pack that had the rumble motors in it that you could Velcro to your arm or Wherever so you could feel the shots being fired from your gun. My son uses a proximity sensor so there is really no tactile feedback at all and I think if there was a way to introduce the feedback you get from the regular controllers…

  6. Win10 should fix the dll files

Either a switch back to exe or better programming I should not have to lose over a quarter of my CPU capability from background windows. I'm using a laptop with a 2018 i7 and 16GB of RAM I can't imagine how the average workplace computer can function. Not to mention how this shortens my computer lifespan and has not noticeably improved my experience.

  7. On blueray player, allow different audio tracks between xbox controller and tv speakers for purpose of personal audio description

Hi, it would be amazing, using the blue-ray player on xbox one s, to have the audio description soundtrack playing through headphones plugged into the xbox controller whilst the normal track plays from the TV emulating what you get in the cinema. It would require running two soundtracks a the same time which might create syncing issues, but it if could be done it would be fantastic. Thanks. Watching films with other people is important and having them describe it is often not the best solution.

  9. Better family controls

The family controls for screen time is a heavy hassle whn you have many kids registrered ( I have 3) I would like all a slider system, or quick allotment of time and days, with possibility to granting special time on given dates. The system as of today harkens to late 90ties and really bad. Having to delete old entries etc - please remove this time consumer.

  11. Assistive Click/ Touch

I have mild Athetoid Cerebral Palsy and I take anxiety medicine and I suffer from involuntary movements and shaking from the following. I like this medicine and I don't want to switch medicines because my mental health is more important for me. I notice I keep clicking on items I do not intend to click on and it is frustrating. I will even close windows, tabs, or open extra applications that I don't want to use. Over all, I am thinking there must be a way to make life easier.

  13. Playing Age of Empires: Definitive Edition Nonvisually

    Hello,
There is no topic for "Games", so I hope this goes to the correct people.
The new Age of Empires: Definitive Edition comes with self-voicing menus and narration which makes the game 85% accessible. There are a set of minor changes that need to be added, such as navigating the unit menu with the keyboard, reading tooltips when arrowing over units, making space select or click by default, and adding a grid view to the map. Other than this, all menus are completely readable, units are all labeled, there is keyboard access on everything but the unit menu and…

  14. Edge needs to have customizable 'new tabs' - This is absolutely ridiculous

Are we really living in a world where a non-bloated basic-functioning internet browser DOES NOT EXIST?

I was enjoying my first day on Edge until I realized I can't set what page my new tabs go to. Seriously? This is day-one stuff.

  15. Actions on several lines

    Hello accessibility team,
On Github, recently some actions on several lines at once have become available. For instance, a reviewer may select several lines and put a comment related to all of them; or to add a suggestion related to several lines at once to remove clutter in the commits by making commits number lower.
As for now, this functionality is not accessible with screen readers.
There are at least two possibilities on how to implement that:
    1. (Better) Make line numbers clickable toggle buttons or links. Scenario: When a screen reader user puts his/her cursor on the line number,…

  16. Improve high-contrast support in Chromium-based Microsoft Edge

I see that in v81.0.366.0 of Chromium Edge the high-contrast mode support is enabled by default. There are a few bugs in it, which I would like to report:

    1. The icon with the 3 vertical dots for the "Actions Menu" button for each video (e.g. on the YouTube home page) is missing, making the button practically invisible when using a high-contrast black theme. This is not the case with the old/legacy/EdgeHTML Microsoft Edge.

    2. The icons for buttons such as "Like", "Dislike", "Share", "Save", etc. (located under a playing video) are missing, making the buttons practically invisible when using a high-contrast…

  17. Shortcut for controller and narrater mode

Hi, I love the fact that narrater is on xbox but one thing I find really annoying is the double click shortcut to switch between narrater mode and controller mode. If you don't get the timing just right you either end up returning to the home screen or to the loaded app/game. It would be great if this shortcut was revised as it's also ergonomically awkward to access considering the amount one uses it in places such as Microsoft edge.

Thanks for all the amazing work.

  18. OCR on xbox

Hi, it would be fantastic if narrator gained the NVDA like ability of using OCR on visual text so that, with a certain button combo or in narrater mode, the printed words could be at least read out. A lot of blind gamers use their windows machines connected to their xboxes to do this. It would be good to remove the need for extra hardware.

  20. Framework for locational audio of voice chat

Hi, it occurs to me that it would be great to have the ability in games for the speaker in multiplayer games speaking from the direction of their PC so their voice will come from a specific place in the stereo field and will be quieter the further they are away. The application would be to guide blind players as would work in the real world but also increase that sense of reality for other gamers. It seems to be a simple series of calculations as long as you know where the other PC is in relation to the listener…
