Bright red Standard Text Color has poor color contrast ratio
In the Font section of MS Office is a Text Color dropdown with a row of “Standard Colors”. People often want some bright red text to highlight their words, and they usually choose the second-to-the left red color (RGB: 255:0:0). There is also the option of the left-most red (RGB: 192:0:0), but it’s too dull for a highlight, so people don’t use it. Unfortunately, the “255” red color only has a color contrast ratio of 4.0:1, which is below the WCAG 2.0 required ratio of 4.5:1. Could you change the “255” color in this row of “Standard Colors” to a bright red with a ratio of at least 4.5:1?
