Emergency need to use PowerPoint as digital worksheets with objects on page!!!
I need to use edit mode in pptx for digital worksheets that allow for drag and drop of someobjects onto a stationary image (background). But I don't have the time to create a layout for each background needed. I have hundreds of PDF that I can convert to PPTX. The problem is some objects need to be backgrounds and some objects need to be selectable and movable. The time added to make layout is massive. Keynote has the ability to do what is needed, but when exported as PPTx the locked objects are again unlocked. Its a right click lock!!…

Immersive Reader in PowerPoint
There were a lot of announcements last year about Immersive Reader coming to PowerPoint, tonnes of demo vids etc, but for the life of me I can't find it. Is it still due for release?

Provide Another Way to Open the Reading Order Pane
The addition of the reading order pane is excellent and including numbers to show the order (as well as listing it from top to bottom) is much easier than using the selection pane. However, it appears as if the only way to open the Reading Order pane is through the accessibility checker. That is not helpful unless something is flagged by the accessibility checker. I copy and pasted a placeholder on to a slide. The placeholder was added to the end of the reading order as is typical. However, it was not flagged by the accessibility checker so I could…

Allow automatic subtitles to be trained for speech patterns or commonly occurring words or names
Can a feature be added to train the subtitles in Powerpoint to recognize my speech patterns or words that I use frequently?
As a teacher, I am often calling on students in class, and as a math teacher, I'm often using very specific vocabulary that I would like to appear correctly for students who rely on subtitles. The value of the subtitles and their usability is greatly reduced when a student's name or course vocabulary are misrepresented on screen.

Powerpoint Animations - be able to highlight text in bold as well as colour after a click
I have a colourblind student in my class. I would like to put up an example in black on white, then highlight one line in red and bold so that it stands out

smartart
I am writing my first presentation using the Check Accessibility function after doing your accessibility training - I am so impressed with it all. However, when checking my reading order and alt text, I have noticed that the text options within SmartArt do not seem to register with the accessibility checker tool. It won't allow me to add alt text to the images, or seem as though the text within the SmartArt is able to be registered by a screen reader. Is there plans to change this function to be more accessible? I love the SmartArt tool, but will need…

Allow PowerPoint Record Screen function to work with screen reader software.
I’m able to access the record screen toolbar but can’t ‘select area’ to initiate the recording and need to rely on a sighted person to do this for me. Is it possible to have a keyboard shortcut to select the full screen in order to activate the record function?

PowerPoint presenter slide view
The new version of PowerPoint after 2010 has removed the view of presenter to see the slides at 1 glance on the same presenter view. It only allows for the next slide view. The previous version is very useful when presentation is more fluid and spontaneous.
Create option for the 2 types of presenter view for different uses.

When will the equation editor be accessible with a screen reader?
Creating online content with PowerPoint is great, but the equation editor is not accessible! There is MathType, but you are unable to make true inline equations that are also accessible. Are there any plans to make the equation editor accessible or make it easier for MathType to be inline and accessible at the same time in PowerPoint?

Create "suggestions" for making PowerPoint "accessible." The graphic suggestions do the opposite! YUCK!
Suggestion tool - similar to graphics suggestions. Converts PowerPoint slides to make them LEGAL for University teaching (and others too).
I used the graphic suggestions built into PowerPoint. The good news - they looked GREAT. The bad news - I can't reverse them - AND - it made all of my slides "illegal" and I can't get them approved through the University!

Save captions to file
When I use the speech recognition feature to provide real-time captions of my presentation, I want to have the complete transcript available to edit and use afterwards.
This would be great for writing minutes/notes or creating transcripts for videos or blogs posts etc.4 votes -
Instructions are incorrect (missing yes/no option) on Office365 login flow.
I ran across this linked in complaint about the office login process (link below).
Quote from the post:
"Hey Microsoft! What's up with the dark pattern on this Office 365 login? Where is the YES or NO choice? It seems like there's enough space. What if I used a screen reader and needed to hear the YES or NO? This is unscrupulous
hashtagdesign, with poor
hashtag
UX and
hashtag
A11Y (accessibility) practices."

offer ways to change the pointer and blinking cursor color
I've created slides with a dark background and light text, but am always losing the pointer and blinking cursor. This is especially tough when I'm editing, but it's also a problem in presenter mode, when I'm trying to toggle between my large font notes and advancing the slides.

Create & make available 100 individual audio files saying "slide 1", "slide 2", "slide 100"
Blind user of PowerPoint desires to be able to know what slide is being presented to an audience, and whether or not the next slide has advanced correctly, or advanced too many slides. PowerPoint allows for the insertion into a slide, of an audio file ("slide 3", "slide 4", "slide 100") which can "autoplay" upon the slide be opened. This will announce to the blind PowerPoint presenter which slide is currently being displayed to the audience, and allow the blind presenter to know whether or not the correct slide has been advanced to. Some individuals would be able to record…
