  1. Windows 10 Magnifier bug

Since updating to Windows 10 version 2004, there seems to be a bug which is causing the Windows Magnifier to judder/shake as the mouse is moved across the screen, whereas it should be smooth.
The issue is found when magnifier is set to: Choose a view 'Full Screen Mode' and Keep the mouse pointer 'Within the edges of the screen'. When the mouse pointer is set to 'Centred on the screen' the issue does not occur.

  2. Azure accessibility

We are having considerable difficulty getting screen readers to work with Azure Bot Service. The biggest problem we have is focus loss. We've been troubleshooting the problem for months, but haven't had any success. We really need an accessibility specialist who understands assistive technology and WCAG to help the Azure team troubleshoot. Can you help us out?

  3. Audible alarm for power option

I have a suggestion regarding the power options. I think that there must be an option to provide some sort of audible alarm when the battery of the laptop charges to 100%. This I think is very necessary because I always forget to unplug the charger even after the battery of my laptop gets charged 100% due to concentration in my work. And this has resulted in damaging my laptop battery. So I looked for a similar option in the power options but I could not find one. I am a nontech person so I barely have any idea about…

  4. typing echo

Can you add typing feedback to Windows? I imagine this would work similar to the Typing Feedback feature on the iPhone. When enabled it would speak each character as the key is pressed aloud.

This is useful for low vision users who cannot see the keyboard but want audible confirmation they have pressed the right key.

  5. Screen readers do not announce notifications in Skype if split view is enabled

If you enable the split view mode in Skype and open any chat, then try to type a message and press enter to send, you will observe this bug:
Normally, the screen reader should say, "Message sent."
However, in split view, the screen reader stays silent.
This applies for any notification. Nothing is announced while inside a chat in split view, including things such as muting the microphone in a call, participants typing, new messages arriving and so on.
Tested with Narrator, NVDA and Jaws.

  6. MS Office color contrast insufficiency issue for combination bar/line charts...

For MS Office (not just Excel), would it be possible to allow for choice of separate fill/outline colors for lines (for all compound types or even just for some) used in combination bar/line graphs or wherever lines are being used to convey meaning? It is currently a challenge to select a single line color that will contrast well against the various colors of the bars AND that of the graph background. What works for darker colors will not work for those that are lighter, and vice versa. Thank you.

  7. Allow automatic subtitles to be trained for speech patterns or commonly occurring words or names

Can a feature be added to train the subtitles in Powerpoint to recognize my speech patterns or words that I use frequently?

As a teacher, I am often calling on students in class, and as a math teacher, I'm often using very specific vocabulary that I would like to appear correctly for students who rely on subtitles. The value of the subtitles and their usability is greatly reduced when a student's name or course vocabulary are misrepresented on screen.

  10. Next Xbox ideas

The next upcoming Xbox should have a small fridge connected for at least 2 or three drinks

I believe this would add an amazing quality to the next big product

Many people sit in front of their screens for long periods of time there is not much we can do about that but help them sit longer haha plus it would add a sense of completion to any man cave, college dorm, or any room.

  11. Narrator should have a pause function

A very common function that people need is to have their text-to-speech app pause and then continue from where it was paused

  15. legacy like pdf reader

    dear microsoft,
for the last few years i have particularly enjoyed using the pdf reader on edge legacy to carry out some research.however since the update to the new version in June i have been unable to really do anything due to the poor quality of the new version. surely it wouldn't be a bad idea to try and integrate the old viewer within the new (or maybe perhaps keep legacy as a PDF reader rather then a browser), this is a particularly feature that is loved and used by many people and it would be very sad if it…

  16. OneNote inaccessible with screen readers

I have worked with students using OneNote on an iPad with VoiceOver and a laptop with JAWS. In each case, OneNote is nearly impossible to navigate, let alone input any information. I have tried both the online version and the installed versions in both cases. Overall, OneNote is simply not accessible to screen reader users. As a result, teachers and students are required to find workarounds and do a great deal of extra work. Please consider looking into this issue.

  17. Xbox One - Accessibility - Audio balancing for left-right

The Xbox One already provides a lot of features in terms of accessibility.

One feature that is missing in my opinion is the option to manually balance the audio for left-right. Many Microsoft devices (e.g. phones, workstations) already offer the opportunity to balance it yourself.

The reason i'm asking is that my own hearing is slightly impaired (25-30%) on one side (right) rendering headphones practically useless for many games. In my idea this is a relative simple feature to add to the accessibility options, making the Xbox One system more and more accessible to all members in the public, including…

  19. Severe eye problems with TOO PALE Word Doc Display

    Dear MS Team,

I am using Office 2019 and have SEVERE EYE PROBLEMS with detecting any icon on the OPTION BAND of a Word Doc because they are TOO FEEBLY represented (light grey instead of black), they are TOO PALE, especially after working for more than 8-11 hours/day when everything culminates into something blurred, which can only be guessed, e.g., the indentation keys on the ruler are almost NON VISIBLE, the same as anything else on a Word Doc.

    FURTHERMORE: Is it possible to
    - (a) add some additional “L-Ctrl+options” for TEXT COLOUR OPTIONS for a fast change of text-colour…

  20. Playing Age of Empires: Definitive Edition Nonvisually

    Hello,
There is no topic for "Games", so I hope this goes to the correct people.
The new Age of Empires: Definitive Edition comes with self-voicing menus and narration which makes the game 85% accessible. There are a set of minor changes that need to be added, such as navigating the unit menu with the keyboard, reading tooltips when arrowing over units, making space select or click by default, and adding a grid view to the map. Other than this, all menus are completely readable, units are all labeled, there is keyboard access on everything but the unit menu and…
