  1. set names and colors on edge tabs, for accessibility and productivity.

Double click a edge tab and set a name and color, it would make it easier to tell what tab is what you need and help both disabled and enabled to do more.

  4. Accessibility issue for GroupMe

    Hi,

Regarding GroupMe on iOS app and Website, users liked my messages, but screen readers could not read likes. I wanted to know who liked my messages. I know sighted people can see likes, but I don't.

Also, Voice-Over cannot see date and time for messages on iOS app.

Unfortunately, I'm not sure about Android app because I don't have it, but you should investigate it.

Can you please fix the issue?

    Thank you,
    Otto

  6. Rather than go through the pretence of trying to treat disabled people with respect, Microsoft needs a UK support email address

The Skype support team have augh at disabled people by promising to get back to us with a new password and then ignore us. Microsoft can disempower disabled people even more plus give UK staff a good laugh if you have a UK email address British disabled people can use but are then of course completely ignored by Microsoft.

  10. Change the landing point for keyboard focus on returning to the Contacts tab to the "Find someone or dial a number" area

In Skype for Business, it used to be that if I was on the Contacts tab and I used Ctrl + n to move to another tab and then Ctrl + 1 to return to the Contacts tab, my focus was in the same place as I'd left it. Getting to the "Find someone or dial a number" edit could take a lot of keystrokes. When I go to that tab, the edit area is where i want to be almost every time

A recent update (I'm now on 16.0.8201.2200) changed this so that now when I return to the…

the ability for win pe /win re to have an audable sound when win pe is booted so people who can't see will know when the re enviroment has loaded

  17. Add the ability to configure settings for certain apps or websites

In most other screen readers, there is a feature that allows the user to specify certain settings for certain situations. For example, you could create a profile for reading text which sets spoken punctuation to none and slows down the speech rate and/or changes the voice. When you're done with that specific task, you can switch back to your default settings. In macOS, these are called Activities while NVDA calls them configuration profiles. What ever you decide to call the feature, the idea is the same. Narrator should allow the user to create a group of settings for specific situations…

  19. Change the Conversation Window background on Skype for Business back to white!

Black text on a gray background is MUCH worse for eye strain and visual disability sufferers. It makes the program unusable for folks suffering with this disability

Change it back to white, or better yet make the background color of the conversation window a user setting

  20. Issue with sound output via the A2DP and HFP Bluetooth protocols

NOTE: I'm posting this here, because the described behavior affects accessibility in general and screen reader (with text-to-speech output) users in particular.

    And now, here's the issue:
    1. Connect a Bluetooth headset that supports both A2DP and HFP (for calls with microphone) protocols and make sure that both protocols are enabled.
    2. While the A2DP protocol is used, launch Narrator. The bug can be reproduced no matter what sound is being played, but with assistive technologies like Narrator the seriousness of the issue is bigger.
    3. While Narrator is running with speech, go to Control Panel -> Sound. When the…
