      Hi Neil,

Thank you for getting in touch with us with your suggestion.

I understand that you want to see more user controls over Windows 7 themes. Can you provide us some additional detail with regards to what you are looking for, such as what elements you would like to see more control over and what that may look like (i.e. additional colors, user customization of colors for specific elements, etc.)?

Again, thank you for your comment as it’s very valuable to us to make our products more accessible to the disabled community.

      Sincerely,

      Erik Stearns

    • Honor system-wide font size/color settings in ALL apps

Often times my font size/color settings in Windows apply to some programs but not all. I want to make a change once and have it improve my experience in all applications.

        Hello,

Thank you for your feedback. I will be happy to submit this as a suggestion to the product group. However, I would like to make yo aware that individual apps have a lot of control on how they look on screen and do not necessarily conform to accessibility best practices guidelines. If you have a Microsoft app that is not behaving as you expect, please let us know.

      • Touch screen needs a tweak to be a perfect keyboard for Repetitive Strain Injury.

The tablet touch keyboard is almost a perfect solution to repetitive strain injury. Needs a tweak!
Currently I am using one screen to type on, and 2nd monitor to use as the monitor. The touch keyboard keeps jumping to the active window rather than staying put on the screen below my fingers.
I have a MS Surface. I plug a 2nd monitor into it. I fold back the physical keyboard and type on the surface screen like a tablet. I have the external monitor in front of me with a Word document on it that I'm editing.
        I should work…

        • Bring back the detailed theme customization Win95 style

I'm missing the ability to fine tune appearance of system the way it was possible in Win95 and earlier versions. Both desktop and Store apps should be influenced by my settings

          • Have more in-store workshops related to accessibility

I go to my local Microsoft store a lot and wish there were more frequent events related to the accessibility features of Microsoft products that I could attend and learn from.

              Hello,

Thank you for your suggestion and feedback. Here are a couple of links that can provide some training for using some Microsoft products for users of accessible technology.
The first link below points to products older than Windows 10and Office 2016,; however, we are working hard to updates this information to include our latest products.

I will make sure the right people receive your feedback with regards to more training in the retail stores.

              • In the Word 2016 spell checker, could we please use the new hotkeys, such as Spacebar with C or Spacebar with I while focussed in the list o

It would be great to be able to use the new hotkeys such as SpaceBar with C or Spacebar with I while still focussed in the list of suggestions. Having to tab away from the list to use these hotkeys is a real productivity killer, because, often the correct suggestion is third or fourth in the list, so we need to be able to use those hotkeys while focussed in the list of suggestions. Thanks.

                • When creating new email account in Outlook 2016,and choosing existing PST, browse button does not work.

Using JAWS 18, after filling in the Outlook 2016 new email account form I get to the 'create new' or 'existing' PST folder. As I normally use my saved PSTs, I choose the 'existing' PST and then click 'Browse'. However, In Outlook 2016 (under Windows 10 Pro 64bit) nothing happens when I click 'Browse' and I have to manually input the file location. Please investigate this issue.
