        Hi Ralph,

I just got some feedback from our team and this is the update thus far:

1.the link to add subnets is not properly labeled. Bug currently under review and we'll have updates shortly regarding a fix
        2. It is no longer possible to select the location. Is this for dropdowns for a location picker?
        3. When pressing E, instead of looking for the last edit field Jaws telling me I'm not in a table. We're currently investigating this and will give updates as to further developpments.
        4. Drop downs are not accessible. The lookup window isn't accessible. Dropdowns just became accessible and are on their way to making it to production.
        5. Adding a site to site connection on the virtual network gateway. Unable to select a local network gateway. The blade appears blank. The testing team has been notified of this and we'll update when more information becomes available.
        6. Adding a site to site connection on the virtual network gateway. Unable to select a local network gateway. The blade appears blank. Same response as 5.

Let me know if this helps.

The Microsoft Disability Answer Desk Team.

          Hello,

Thank you for reaching out regarding your concern. We are currently working on making Visual Studio more accessible. Therefore I’ll forward your issue on to our product teams for further consideration. In the meantime, updates will be posted on this forum.

          Thank you for contacting us.

The Microsoft Disability ANswer Desk team.

          Hello,

Which version of Visual Studio are you referring to?

VS2017 is accessible (we test it)
VS2015 had some issues on the tree control. Can give more information?

          Thanks.

          The Disability Answer Desk team.

            Hello Matt,

Thank you for contacting us about your suggestion. In a way that makes sense to have a screen curtain for your Android device like the one that is found in Apple products.

I’ve submitted your feature request to one of our Product Managers for further review. we’ll post updates here as soon as further details become available.

In the meantime, one thing you can do is dim your screen all the way down as that would make it harder for others to read – especially at an angle.

Again, thank you for contacting us about this, and we will endeavor to resolve all issues that are raised.

            Sincerely,

            The Microsoft Disability Answer Desk.

            Hello,

We at the Disability Answer Desk wanted to let you know that your suggestion is under review by product management. At this time there is no ETA as far as when this will be implemented.

Please stay tuned to this discussion as we'll post more information as it becomes available.

            Sincerely,

The Microsoft Disability Answer Desk team.

              Hello Chris,

Thank you for reaching out to us at the Disability ANswer Desk on the User Voice Forum. This is an interesting feature request and makes a lot of sense considering that verbosity settings are found on comparable products. I will contact the product manager for Narrator and follow up with him to see if this is something that is planned for a future release. Once I have an answer back, I’ll follow up with an update with regards to your suggestion.

Thank you again for contacting us about this.

              Sincerely,

The Microsoft Disability Answer Desk team.

                Hi Jason,

Thank you for contacting us at the Disability Answer Desk. In order to serve you better, can you tell us what version of Outlook you’re using such as Mac or Windows 32 or 64-bit, and what version of Jaws or other screen reader that you are using? That will allow us to get this issue to the appropriate product manager to get this resolved for you.

Again, thank you for contacting us; and we will do our best to resolve this for you.

                Sincerely,

The Microsoft Disability Answer Desk team.

I rerproduced this for you and found a solution for you. When we did this we got the following result: I am not sure what your are specifically looking for here; this is what I get when I use the arrow to go left and right between days in my calendar:

                Day View, 3 total events, 8:00pm to 8:30pm Wednesday, January 4, 2017
                Day View, 3 total events, 8:00pm to 8:30pm Thursday, January 5, 2017
                Day View, 2 total events, 8:00pm to 8:30pm Friday, January 6, 2017
                Day View, 0 total events, 8:00pm to 8:30pm Saturday, January 7, 2017

The date and the day of week are there.

Now, the calendar does need to be in a specific view I believe to get this data; my calendar view is “Calendar view” and specifically day of week.

Let me know if this works for you.

The Microsoft Disability Answer Desk team.

                  Hello,

Thank you for contacting us via the User Voice forum. This is something that we’ve already been made aware of as a desired feature. Therefore, I’m in communication with the product managers to see when this may be implemented. Once I have clear information on this, I’ll post a follow up comment on this topic.

Again, thank you for contacting the Microsoft Disability Help Desk.

                  Hi Greg,

We would be more than happy to help you out with your accessibility issue. So that we may more effectively assist you, can you tell me the version of outlook that you’re using, and on what platform you’re using it on such as Windows 10 or Android for example?

                      Hello,

Thank you for contacting us about the issue you’re having. Can you tell us is if you’ve been able to change the focus to the message body without the BrailleNote Touch?

Thank you for contacting us. We look forward to solving your issues and answering your questions.

                      Sincerely,

                      Hi Sam,

I have some questions for you as a follow-up to our conversation of the issue you have submitted. Is this is similar to a user who has an Android tablet with a keyboard, or if the navigation experience it totally different.

Assuming this is similar to navigating with a keyboard, it may not be the right design for most users. For example, say you’re using TalkBack on an Android device, and you select items in the message list – you’re likely expecting to hear the preview of that item read to you, while being able to still arrow down to the next item in the list. Taking focus out of the list could make it harder to go through multiple emails.

I’m not sure if there’s already a keyboard shortcut that would apply here for getting from the message list to the reading pane, which would alleviate this user’s frustration.

We'll investigate this more in the coming new year and keep you up to date as far as what's developing.

Again, thank you for contacting us.

The Microsoft Disability Answer Desk Team.

                        Hello George,

In response to your inquiry, we would like to know what you are using that could use greater language support. If you are using eh Ease of Access Tools in Windows 10 or any of the other accessibility tools, you’ll find that we do localize our products to support many languages.

We look forward to your additional feedback.

                        Sincerely,

The Microsoft Disability Answer Des team

                        Hi George,

Thank you for that additional piece of information which helped greatly. I did some research for you and Greek is not yet supported as per the URL listed below. However, I am escalating this suggestion to our product managers, as we're looking to add more languages to accommodate a greater user base.

                        https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/22805/windows-10-narrator-supported-languages

We'll keep you up to date on our progress in implementing this for you. In the meantime, if you have any other suggestions or concerns regarding accessibility, please feel free to contact us.

                        Sincerely,

                        The Microsoft Disability Answer Desk.

                        Hi George.

Thanks for your response to the forum. In response to that, what speech recognition software are you wanting to use with Cortana? Is this Dragon Naturally Speaking or another software package? If so, which is it?

                        Thanks,

                        The Microsoft Disability Answer Desk.

                          Hello Hari Dhoundiyal ,

Thank you for contacting the Disability Answer Desk about your concern with Narrator. Can you give us some more detail as to when it does not alternate in between screen and editing mode? This would help us improve the software to make it user friendly.

                          Thank you for contacting us.

                          Sincerely,

                          The Microsoft Disability Answer Desk.

                          Hi Hari,

Thank you for getting back to us on this. I'll forward your issue on to the product owners as this looks to be very valid. We'll keep you up to date on this forum in regards to our progress.

                          Thank you,

                          The Microsoft Disability Answer Desk.

The “scan” mode does not automatically switch to the appropriate mode when navigating through pages of web-sites. When Narrator’s cursor focus lands on a text input/editable field, the “scan” mode does not switch off. You could press “CapLock+SpaceBar”, but it’s neither convenience nor efficient. Narrator should offer the same ability as other advanced screen readers--or else, it would not be meaningful and/or productive to use.
I strongly recommend that the Narrator should apply methods of interacting with web pages in the manner so applied by System Access screen reader (see: www.serotek.com). System Access is the only screen reader that utilizes a synchronous and automatic approach – alleviating the issue of such as “scan” mode. The only way your team will be able to make a sense of it is to run the System Access for a test-drive.

                          Hari Dhoundiyal

Thank you for your input. We chatted with the Word Team on these issues:
                                  • Issue 1: Fixed. This enhancement will start rolling out to Office 365 First Release and Office Insider Customers before Fall.
                                  • Issue 2: We are working on a fix for this issue now, thank you for your feedback. Our goal is to fix this issue as part of our commitment to accessibility.
                                  • Issue 3: Unfortunately, we don’t have the ability to fetch the browsing history from most browsers. The team is looking into other potential improvements.
